Early Settler Bushman's Huts

Bushmans huts overlooking the clarenceSpend a while under canvas in authentic early settler style huts. Wake to views of the Clarence River lying in the shadows of a 200 metre sheer cliff.

The view from the secluded balcony is divine. You will feel as though you are sleeping amongst the wilderness. Private, cosy, intimate is how you will describe these special accommodation suites after an overnight stay in one. The huts are made from rustic timber sleeper offcuts, lined with canvas, and covered with a corrugated iron roof. You won't find a more Aussie style of accommodation unless you are sleeping in a swag.

The comfortable room with a double bed opens out onto a small verandah area where you can while away your days swinging in the hammock or watch the sun sink behind the mountain over a cool glass of wine. The shared camp kitchen facility is a short walk away. The kitchen has a solar powered fridge, gas burners, inside wood fired bar-be-que, a brand new wood fired pizza oven, and wildlife proof food storage area. The solar heated showers and composting toilets are also only a short walk away.

Choose your sleeping style from our secluded huts, either a comfortable double bed or four berth bunk style beds.
