Canoeing Heading   The Platypus! You might even see some of these

Guests are welcome to use the canoes free of charge in the waterhole in front of the lodge. This waterhole is 1.2 km long with a rapid at either end.

Fantastic Paddling for Kilometres and Kilometres

There is a selection of extended canoe trips that can take from 1/2 to five days. These trips can be self directed or guided and fully catered. When self directed we supply the canoe, paddles, safety vests and helmets. The guest would need to have a tent, sleeping bag, food and cooking equipment. If guided the guests would need to bring clothing (kept to a minimum), old joggers and a sleeping bag for the overnight trips.

Friends enjoy this wonderful stretch of river together

For the self-directed canoeists we have produced a detailed river map that is available for purchase. Click here to view our maps of the river path.
