If you would like to see some of the mighty Clarence River up close and personal Clarence River Wilderness Lodge has snorkells and masks available. It's a fantastic way to view some of the underwater wildlife in the Clarence. Combined with a life vest it is possible to spend hours floating around looking at the bottom. A very old, very large Clarence River Cod has been sighted in the waters directly in front of the lodge. Turtles, eels and catfish have also been seen.
